Meet Pastor Tony Scott
Tony Scott, Pastor of theChurch on Strayer since 1974 and graduate of Lee University, is recognized nationally and internationally as a pastor, teacher, and visionary leader. Author of the books: Living A Diamond Life in a Rocky World and The Increase Life, he brings a fresh understanding to the concept of increase. His heart remains captive to God’s Kingdom as he has committed his life to helping people around the world discover their purpose and live their God-intended destiny through messages that empower the spirit, soul, and body.
With a passion for ministry and Christ-centered living, Pastor strives to see Toledo, the city he has grown to know and love, be impacted by God’s love and mercy. His wife and best friend, Shirley Ann, also serves along side him in the ministry where they have seen an enormous impact on the city and surrounding areas.
Wherever you see him – at Urban Active (gym), a restaurant, the mall – don’t be surprised if he is sharing his faith with someone or even praying with them. On the softball diamond – well that’s another story. Ever passionate, whatever his hands find to do, he does it well. Always full of life, energetic, optimistic – that is how they both live.
