Creative/ Relevant Bible Lessons- The Bible is the most popular, exciting, and true book ever written. We convey that to the kids through fun and exciting skits, puppets, and storytelling. We engage children in Bible through small group activities and discussions each week. Our goal is to see every child love and apply God’s word to their lives.
Relationships- Our number one desire is to introduce each child to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We also value each child as an individual and we as a leadership team strive to know each child by name. Consistent relationships within small groups are important as well, with the teacher and with students their age. As families commit to attending the same weekend service each week, children are placed in consistent small groups where relationships grow.
Safety- We take very seriously the trust families give us when leaving their child with us each week. Consequently, we print name tags with a parent identification number that is matched with the parent’s tag before we allow them to leave. We also do federal background checks on all volunteers and monitor all entrances and exits.
Age Related- Our goal is to present the bible in a way that is understandable to a child. Our curriculum and dramas are chosen with a child’s mental and emotional capabilities in mind.
Fun!- Across the world one thing remains about children, they love fun! We have experienced that when children have fun at KidsChurch they can’t wait to come back.
First Time:
Look for our KidsChurch check in station in our main lobby, after some quick information we will check your child in to our system and we would be happy to have a volunteer direct you and your child to their designated area.
*We ask for the following personal information; family member’s names, children’s names and birthdates, family address, phone number, e-mail, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion of your matching identification tags which bears a code that is matched to your portion during checkout at the end of the service. During checkout, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
If your child were to need you for any reason your parent identification code will appear on the screen in the main auditorium. If your child’s number appears we ask that you immediately leave the auditorium and if unsure where to go ask a volunteer to guide you to your child’s area.
What if I lose my parent identification tag?
It’s okay, we won’t keep them forever but, you will need a driver’s license or other form of picture identification. Go to the check in station in the main lobby with your picture i.d. and we will print you a duplicate tag.
When you return:
First stop is the kidsChurch check- in station. Our check in stations open 30 minutes prior to each service. Check in volunteers will need the last four digits of the phone number you gave us on the information card you filled out on your prior visit. Once you receive your parent/child identification tags you may take your child to their age appropriate area. If you lose your parent tag you may get a duplicate with a picture I.D. at the KidsChurch check in station
